Marissa Dannaway, PT, DPT
Hello! My name is Marissa. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in Pelvic Health and Chronic Pain Physical Therapy.
I am originally from Hawaii, but completed my training mostly in Los Angeles, CA. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Scripps College (2012) and then my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University (2016).
I have spent the years following dedicated to learning as much as I can about these specialty areas. I have an interest in pain due to the way psychology plays a crucial role in successful treatment.
My mission is to provide accessible, quality, and inclusive care, particularly to women and those within the LGBTQIA+ community in order to improve the health and vitality of my local community.
I aim treatment to encompass the whole individual, get to the root cause of symptoms, and address patients’ mind, body, and spirit, for true embodied healing.
I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!
